Pianist Jenny Wilson’s jazz trio performs a wide variety of jazz repertoire, in the classic piano trio setting. The trio is enhanced by “Jenny’s rich vocals” and flute. The threesome aims for a strong artistic interaction based on musical communication in the moment. Influenced by artists such as Shirley Horn, Diana Krall and Bill Evans, the trio combines older standards, contemporary jazz, pop tunes and originals into a set of creative and spontaneous arrangements. Located in Morgantown, West Virginia, the Jenny Wilson Trio performs regularly at clubs, restaurants and festivals in West Virginia, Pennsylvania and Maryland.
